Learn how to integrate Launcher API into your applications.

Authentication

Launcher uses API keys to authenticate requests. You can view and manage your API keys in the Dashboard.

Authentication to the API is performed via HTTP Basic Auth. Provide your API key as the basic auth username. You do not need to provide a password.

All API requests should be made to the following base URL:

Endpoints

GET/quote

Retrieves the latest price quote for a specific symbol.

Query Parameters

  • symbolThe ticker symbol (e.g., AAPL, BTC-USD). Required.

GET/symbols

Returns a list of all supported symbols.

Errors

Launchr uses standard HTTP status codes to indicate the success or failure of an API request.

CodeDescription
200OK - Everything worked as expected.
400Bad Request - The request was unacceptable (e.g. missing parameter).
401Unauthorized - No valid API key provided.
402Payment Required - You have run out of credits.
500Server Error - Something went wrong on our end.
